Mr M, a doctor from Sydney Austrilia, asked for a three day tour in Qingdao city.
Day 1: East and Middle Town
We met at May Fourth Square and walked towards the Music Plaza, there we encountered a singing chorus and a group of lovely pigeons.
Later we headed to the coffee street at Minjiang road and went for lunch in China Community. if you want to enjoy a nice buffet with reasonalbe price, that would be the one.
in the afternoon, we visited the Eight Great Passes and the Granite Mansion. it was a lovely sunny day, a lot of wedding couples there taking pictures for their photo album. Later we walked along the sea path from No 2 beach to No 3 beach, it was a nice way to enjoy the middle town seaview. if you like ,you can just lie on the sand for a while.
Next we went to the Brewery Museum and had a couple of drinks there. walking along the beer street was fun and we saw the largest beer showcase. Coz of Mr M\'s career, we went to the old site of Qingdao Medical University, Then the Tianmu City, where the roof is painted like sky.
Day 2--Old Town Visit--History and Culture
First we met at the German Style Street, and Mr M took two calligraphy lessons which was fun and fruitful and he got the work from the teacher.
after lunch we headed to the Guest House and the Xinhao Mountain. the view on top of it was spectacular, then we walked along to Xiaoyushan Park, which was also a good place to overview No1 beach.
last but not least, the Little Qingdao Isle. it was at dusk so from that point to look back Qingdao city, the view was marvelous. Old fish boat setting off to work, the city just glows in the sun.
pity that we didnt have the time to visit the Navy Museum.
Day 3--Mount Lao, ---NATURE AND MAJESTY
We set off for Mr Lao in the morning and reached Beijiushui area for lunch. the local restaurant \'s food was so delicous and way cheaper than the city. then we headed from Lake one to lake three, if we have more time we would climb up all the way to the lake nine.
then we took a detour to Yangkou area, visit Taiqing palace, which was built 2000 years ago, inside there are alot of ancient trees and temples, it is the famous Daoism palace. later we climbed up a small hill, the view was so nice, especially in this tranquil afternoon.
then another smaller temple Huayan Temple. we sat on the beach for a while and headed back to the city.
There are more places to go if you have time in Mt Lao, like the Peak of Mt Lao. it could take three days in total to visit all of them.
Below is the quote from Mr M after the three day tour,\"Thank you Jenny for this wonderful trip you planned and it helped me know better though i have lived here before.\"
