German couple housing project

In late 2018, I was approached by a couple from Germany who were hoping to purchase building materials and furniture for their new house. They had tried to obtain the idea and quotations from various companies and factories, however, it is resulted in them becoming increasingly concerned with the language barrier, troublesome in dealing with price, payment terms, and delivery arrangement. Since they have so many different products to buy and have dozen of suppliers to communicate and check. Therefore they found me as their sourcing agent to handle sourcing trips, business negotiation, and order documents follow up.

I began making a sourcing trips schedule for them, listed a number of the building materials and furniture they need, discussed together with the style they want. Quickly identified a number of qualified manufacturers and wholesalers of building materials, furniture, and home decoration. Within 1 week we have finalized purchase contracts with various suppliers. Within days the german couple selected their preferred factories and wholesalers, I completed an in-person factory audit which I provide in video and PDF format showing demonstration. I arranged freight and customs and even helped unload the entire container when they were delivered to their new house place in Germany. Not only did I help with arranging container shipment, but I also successfully to do well door to door custom clearance since Germany have anti-dumping tax on ceramic tiles importing from China.

Oh, and did I mention that by purchasing directly from the factories and wholesalers, this couple already saved over $9,600 for a 300㎡ house just on tiles, let alone other saving on furniture. This allows them to even further invest education in their babies.
