| Comment : | Hello Ms. Lee, My name is Bob Tintelnot and I am the Quality Manager for Suntsu Frequency Control located in Southern California, USA. We supply quartz crystals and oscillators to a worldwide customer base but all of the manufacturing is conducted in Asia. Three to Four times per year we will visit our suppliers and audit their manufacturing processes to ensure that they are supporting us with the best quality products that they can. I am searching for someone to act as an interpreter while I conduct supplier audits at three crystal and oscillator manufacturing facilities in the Beijing area the first full week of March. My goal using an interpreter is to make questions, answers and points of view clearly understood without a lot of time being wasted trying to decipher it all. An example situation I would like to avoid is where there is a lot of Chinese being spoken about a certain issue and after a 10 minute discussion I just get the answer they want to tell me. I would like to know what is actually being said and this has worked to my advantage with interpreters in Korea and Taiwan. The interpreter does not have to know any of the technical terms of the business because the English term will suffice in most cases.
