| Comment : | We are desperately looking for an interpreter for the President of Adi-Yoga, a Thai and American company, that is currently building a retreat center in Loei. Hopefully the information bellow sounds good to you: 1. The job would start Jan. 3, 2008, and we would need a committment from you that would would work until Jan. 20th. If you are interested you can have the job through until April. There are long term opportunities available if you are interested, thus the job can be as short as four months, or as long as you want. 2. Loei would be more of a home base than the permanent location for the job, as there would be a lot of traveling down to Bangkok, but the trips would only be for a few days at a time. The interpreter would need to accompany him down to Bangkok as often as he went. 3.There are definitely more opportunities available to help out with administration, programing, and marketing if you are interested, but that wouldn't start until the end of April. It would be very helpful to have a khon Thai in those departments, once the center starts function as a retreat location. 4.The employer would cover all expenses (food, travel, accommodations, etc.), and the pay would be $85-95USD per day. 5. The "topic of interpretation" would vary. At first it would simply be helping out at business meetings with lawyers, architects, and construction companies. However, as the president and spiritual director of the school will be giving lectures in Bangkok, and once open many in the Loei center someone who can interpret philosophical and or spiritual ideas would be used.
