| Comment : | I am planning to travel from Sydney, Australia, to Beijing in October this year to meet the parents of my youngest son''s fiancee. My son will bee getting married in Beijing in May 2008. The purpose of my is a respect and courtesy one, and to discuss of the wedding. Her parents do not speak English, and I do not speak Mandarin. Is it possible to hire an interpreter for some occasions while I am there, so that I am able to make contact, get to know them, and discuss plans for next year. In all probability I will be staying with her parents while I am there. They live in Beijing, and from what I understand her father is a high ranking military officer. I would be happy to discuss the the type of person you recommend for this situation. John |
