I helped an UK furniture company find/contact suitable manufacturers, arrange visits to factories and meetings, and solve all the problems that occurred later. I worked as an interpreter for the Department of Justice of the United States (USDOJ) in 2005 and 2006. In September 2005, USDOJ and China's Ministry of Justice worked together to fight against cross-border money laundering and illegal immigration, and officials from both sides had witness deposition teleconferences in Guangzhou and Las Vegas. I helped US attorneys communicate with the witnesses and worked as the interpreter in the meetings between the two sides.
I worked in the Technical Department of Deloitte CPA Ltd Guangzhou Branch for more than four years. During this period, I also provided verbal translation for new senior / manager training and national partners conference. After four years' work in Deloitte, I am familiar with auditing and accounting related glossary, and have some understanding of financial standards and technical issues. My supervisor has been very satisfied with my translation skills and commitment to work.
