• Assist in HSE related coordination and arrangement inside the location, including making and updating T cards, approving and signing Job Permits (Hot Job, Confined Space Entry), attending and interpreting Pre-Job Safety Meeting, arranging and writing JSA and TSA, and preventing and correcting potential hazards, and etc.,
• Received multiple HSE trainings provided by the SOS International and some HSE Agencies, including First Aid, SCBA, Hazards Identification, Lifting and Evacuation and/or Medivac.
• Responsible for receiving, tracking, updating and transferring drilling materials and equipments sent to the location, reviewing the use of vendors’ transportation MSDS, signing delivery tickets, preparing cargo manifests, supervising material shipment to ensure proper procedures and regulations are complied with, assisting mud engineers in organizing the mud shack, inventorying and ordering drilling fluids materials, organizing the drilling tool house, updating the inventory of tubular, float equipment, casing running tools, bits, jet nozzles, PPE, fishing tools, drilling jars, reamers and etc.
• Responsible for communicating with Chengdu-based warehouse and site warehouse, tracking the shipment and usage status of materials, equipments and tools, coordinating between the rig manager and warehouse for the use, maintenance and reimbursement of tools and equipments, and making proactive plan and timeline for the drilling operations.
• Supervise the rig activities between all drilling contractors, including checking the different readings of drilling parameters between the driller and mud loggers, ensuring the use of PPE and uniform, stopping dangerous activities, reporting change of situation to the Drilling Supervisor, announcing plans and decisions, holding regular meetings where all contractors are required to present, and etc.
• Basically familiar with the knowledge of drilling, directional drilling, cementing, mud logging, mud engineering, petrophysics, e-log, casing running, wellhead installation, well control, logistics, warehouse management, and rig site coordination in the industry of oil and gas exploitation and development;
• Drilled multiple wells in Sichuan Basin, including horizontal wells and straight wells;
• Highly evaluated by the Vice President from Houston headquarters, the Drilling Superintendent from the town, and the Drilling Supervisor on the rig site.
