    - I am a native of Shanghai. I took part in the work of translation for an import project valued tens of million yuan just after graduating from a university in Shanghai in 1983.

    - In 1987, I got the certificate of basic English in the self-taught examination in Shanghai Foreign Language College and took part in TOEFL, scored 520.

    - 16 years have been passed since I left Shanghai for Wenzhou in 1992 to start the work as a freelance translator, mainly technical translations and interpretations (machinery, electric, electron, meter, instrument, pump, valve&automatic control etc.).

    - During that period, I was invited by 10-odd electric companies to work with a senior UL engineer for an approval of electric appliances (continued up to 10 years) and by valve manufacturers for API approval.

    - Translated the programming document of Wenzhou Bridge (submitted to Bank of Asia).

    - Took part in the technical cooperation talk and contract sign between the companies here and foreign ones.

    - Invited by Wenzhou Foreign Affair Department for the reception of the foreign guests who participated in the first session of Wenzhou Light-Industry Fair in 2002.

    - Invited by the relative companies to carry out technical and business talks with lots of foreign businessmen coming here.

    - Worked with a French businessman to do the export business (covering machineries, electric appliances, meters etc.) for over 10 years.

    - Participated the international bids and exhibitions; And translated a great deal of technical materials (including catalogs, websites etc.), Participating technical translation and interpretation with the invitations from domestic translation and translation service companies.
